On a side note - where I live 90% of girls have straight or very slightly wavy hair so my friends always convinced me not to change it because it's different.But afterwards they told me that even though straight hair looks fine on me, that I look better with curls, so be careful with perms - if it doesn't come out the way you like, it's a hassle to fix it. I'm all for enhancing the natural not completely changing it, but it's your hair so have fun.I have naturally very curly hair but I don't thing you can change the structure without out any damage - you could do a perm(the kind that makes hair straight). I think a good perm last a few months.
