Regular computers like that have a lot more ram and have a working graphics card that can render things a lot better like uses for 3D modeling. Some places rip people off by making things more expensive then its worth. Stores for example, fry's and best buy increase the real cost by 10%-25% to make profit. They trick people like that because the buyer does not know a lot about computers. I like to avoid ever buying premade gaming desktops. Gaming computers tend to last a lot longer since they are made to take more stress than regular desktops can. Getting a gaming desktop can last up to 2-4 times longer than regular desktops can because they are consistently upgraded.
